Under these two Vienna Conventions the detail duties include:

1. Head of the Mission (usually the ambassador and/or Consul General)
2. Members of the Mission (usually diplomatic privileged extended to staff)
3. Diplomatic agent is usually the ambassador and/or Consul General
4. Diplomatic Private Servants may be appointed by the ambassador, Consul General or Heads of State, but are not citizens from the authorizing nation
5. Diplomatic Protection (premisiss of the mission) includes the person and his/her contents, brief cases/luggage, homes and cars, jets, boats, etc.
6. Usually Travel is included and respected for diplomats, except the number 1 abuser is the United States of America. (most Nations Consider the USA as a terroristic police state) so choose wisely to stay out of the USA when possible

Cost of Diplomatic Passport

The cost to become a Consul General, Vice Consul General or Ambassador/Deputy Ambassador or Diplomatic Privilege Passport is very expensive. For example in the USA diplomats usually pay USD$ millions for an ambassadorship to some Nation via political power with the president, Vice President and Ministerial Post having received 'Big Political Donations' during their elections. The word bribery comes to mind. However, other Nations operate similarly, but the cost is much less.
